Read moreLittle-known but fished in France, the common pout (Trisopterus luscus) is a member of the same family as cod, haddock and whiting: the Gadidae.
The common pout measures between 20 and 30 cm and is characterized by its slightly coppery beige color, dark vertical stripes and chin barbel that gives it the appearance of a pair of whiskers. This predator lives in packs and feeds on crustaceans, mollusks and small fish. The pout lives in shallow waters, down to -300 meters, where it likes to hide in nooks and crannies, caves or shipwrecks.
The flavor of the pout is not very strong, and delights young and old alike. Pout is easy to prepare, but should always be cooked fairly briefly, as its flesh is delicate. Pout's flesh is fine and therefore fragile: it shouldn't be kept too long - the fresher, the better!
Pout is low in fat and high in nutrients, making it ideal for a balanced diet.

Je n'avais jamais essayé les filets de tacaud. J'aime assez, je recommande avec une petite sauce car le goût est peu prononcé.
très bons filets , cependant faire attention car il y a quelques fois des arêtes
